Firing an employee is one of the most difficult and unpleasant
tasks a manager has to face. Terminated employees may be hurt,
angry, or frightened. In addition, terminated employees may feel
the firing was unjustified, and file a lawsuit against the company
or individual. If an employee is creating a problem, let the employee
know that you are dissatisfied so he or she will have an opportunity
